Disclaimer: I do not own any of the images I post, unless I state otherwise. You know that moment when you’re listening to a song and you hear some lyrics that are absolutely one hundred percent how you are feeling? That is what I had when ‘Need You Now’ came on my car radio today.
I’m getting over a three year relationship at the moment..well I’m not actually getting over it but I think that you’re supposed to say that you are, and who knows, maybe one day you’ll actually start to believe it.
That’s pretty much how I have been acting since the break up. I push any thoughts of it out of my mind a thousand times a day and secretly punish myself for thinking about him.
When people say it takes half the length of the relationship to get over someone, is that true? God I hope not.
What I am having trouble with at the moment, is how can two people go from everything eachother has, to two seperate people? When you truly love someone it feels as if part of you that you didn’t even know was missing, has slottted back into place. So how is it possible to go from whole to partly missing, and how do you go about filling up that gaping hole in your life.
When after a break up, do you stop feeling broken?
